Czterdzieści największych firm wpłaciło do budżetu państwa 99 mld zł. Jest to równowartość niemal połowy wpływów budżetu państwa. Oprócz spółek Skarbu Państwa, czołowe pozycje zajmują Philip Morris z branży tytoniowej i Stock Polska.
Według danych 60 największych spółek giełdowych, a także nienotowanych na giełdzie firm zatrudniających wielu pracowników (tych, które udostępniły już sprawozdanie finansowe w KRS) oraz tych zajmujących się produkcją towarów akcyzowanych i grami losowymi. Z tego powstał obraz wpływów podatkowych w Polsce w 2020 r.
Czterdziestu największych płatników z tego grona wniosło w ub. r. aż 98,7 mld zł w formie różnych podatków i opłat. To równowartość aż 42 proc. wpływów podatkowych budżetu państwa w ub.r. z wyłączeniem VAT, który płacą ostatecznie zawsze konsumenci. Te czterdzieści firm to część gospodarki, która, można powiedzieć, że swoją działalnością utrzymuje struktury państwowe.
Na pierwszym miejscu zestawienia znalazła się grupa PGE. Podium uzupełniają Philip Morris i PKN Orlen. Dalsze miejsca zajmują PZU, Stock Polska i kolejne firmy z branży tytoniowej: BAT Polska Trading i JTI Polska. W pierwszej dziesiątce zestawienia znajduje się aż sześć spółek Skarbu Państwa.
Zestawienie zamyka CD Projekt, gigant branży gamingowej, który wpłacił do budżetu 201 mln zł.
Warto spojrzeć także na dane dotyczące PIT-u od pracowników. Pierwszy trzy miejsca zajmują: PGE, PZU i Poczta Polska, która jest największym pracodawcą w Polsce. Zatrudnia 79 tys. osób.
